UDPS SOUTHEAST ASIA ANXIOUS ABOUT COUNTRY’S FATE

Following several call from UDPS national leader, Dr. Etienne Tshisekedi and journalists to form national dialogue among political elites in the DRC before heading towards general and presidential elections in the DRC;

Following a thorough full review of the whole Congolese national economic and political situation and condition for more than 2 years;

Believing in national dialogue as a mean to solve any pending or crucial matter as members of same family;

Kindly allow me to start this writing by calling it myself the dialogue needed by Dr. Etienne Tshiekedi as a Congolese Dialogue for Motherland Self Respect.

The aim of the said dialogue is about the anxiety towards our country’s fate due to the ongoing moral crisis among Congolese new elites, responsible for the decomposition of Congo self respect on national, regional and global level.

This is communiqué is sent to whole Congolese nation since new elites at Kinshasa continue to ignore that the elections period is crucial moment in the history of our nation.

The said communiqué is formed of several points and divided into 2 main parts among them are:

a.Push 3 political elites of the DRC that include elites politic, government and Congolese community) to come down and sit around same table before it is too late for a national dialogue and

b.Call Congolese Intelligentsia to help new Congolese elites, opposition leaderships and Congolese community to carefully analyze the present national condition that could worsen below zero level if they reject national dialogue to save our motherlands dignity for a common better future in this era of globalization.

Therefore, the following communiqué is urgently published to the whole Congolese nation with aim to:

1.Make the whole Congolese community be aware of a strong motherland self respect could be formed only through existing traditional institutions such as: family, community, political parties and elected government by the whole nation (95 %);

2.Urge political elites to respect political ethics heading towards to prevent friction between same Congolese son and daughters;

3.Ask the illegal government at Kinshasa to be consistent towards own and remaining main job that is the organization of general and presidential elections;

4.Urge the illegal government at Kinshasa to remain neutral and active to prevent conflicts during the said elections;

5.Urge community leaders, custom and religious leaders to issue clear and peaceful recommendations to Congolese community who are the future voters for the first time. The aim is to help them become more rational and sage in using their electoral rights;

6.Urge Congolese community to be positioned as voters to elect next Congolese national leadership who have high self respect and not involved in human rights violation in the DRC;

7.Urge the whole Congolese community to organize democratic elections having high quality by using peaceful ways;

8.Urge the whole Congolese nation to push forwards national reconciliation as sole facility to reorganize our country’s fate in the near future in this era of globalization…

I personally urge the points mentioned above here to our nation following several call from our National Leader, Dr. Etienne Tshisekedi offering a space for national dialogue; and after observed very carefully the ongoing economic and political conditions in our country.

I am very aware and pretty sure that, involving all good son and daughters of the great Congo in the general and presidential elections, without exception or political machinations whatsoever; the long crisis of political legitimacy in the DRC that have its source from a rotten moral spirit among present new elites at Kinshasa.

The coming general and presidential elections (if organized in 2006) could be seen as the sole political facility heading towards the improvement of national conditions. However, I remind to the whole nation, if new elites forming the illegal government at Kinshasa maintain a death ear, the coming general and presidential elections contain great potency for violent conflicts in the DRC.

The conflict potency could start to emerge because Congo nation is leaded by political elites who are not mature yet and power oriented until they successfully neglect Congolese nation and country’s interests (at along range).

There is huge potentiality for impediment towards the present illegal government at Kinshasa, since the said government is involved in power competition by planning to use force in the coming general and presidential elections (if organized in 2006).

Congolese community of origin was been sided and not involved directly in the electoral process. In addition some Congolese community who has registered continues to be positioned by the new elites at Kinshasa as own political parties supporters than real voters.
