Dear Excellencies, Representatives of Political Parties, Leaders of Congolese Civil Society, Compatriots in the Diaspora and in the Democratic Republic of Congo:

We are pleased to announce that the Center for Global Change and Governance at Rutgers University in Newark is sponsoring a conference organized by the Reformed Congolese National Convention (CONACO-R.). The main topic of the conference is "The Contemporary Crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo: Urgency for National Unity". The Newark Campus is located at 30 minutes to or from New York City. The Center for Global Change and Governance will provide breakfast and lunch for the first day of the conference. We are inviting all Congolese to attend and we can assert that all your inputs to the topics as outlined in the program will greatly be appreciated at this critical period in the history of the DR Congo. We would like all the speakers to confirm their participation once or even before they receive an official invitation from the University. The contact persons are:
