Mbelenga Andre

My name is ysaac Rodriguez, I am the director of the Refugees Services Office of the Catholic Roman Archdiocese of Halifax, NS, Canada. This Office provides legal representation, free of charge, to refugees claimants in Nova Scotia.

I am looking for any information about a former Member of Parliament in Zaire, in Mubuto's regime, by the name of ANDRE MBELENGA.

In 1981 Mr. Mbelenga, together with other thirteen members of parliament, was incarcerated after they sent a memorandum to then president Mubuto, in which they urged the president to make political changes in Zaire. I have being looking for any news clips regarding Mr., Mbelenga in the internet, to no avail. And I would appreciate any help that could lead me to finding this information.
